Konami trademarks Genso Suikoden in US; new game in the works?

Siliconera reports that Konami has recently filed a trademark for "Genso Suikoden" in the US. Yeah, it's for the Japanese series name, which kinda dilutes the possibility of an actual new game in the long-running RPG series.

Still, the last filing -- for Suikoden Tierkreis -- bore fruit, so hopefully this trademark filing will yield another new game. Maybe we'll finally get a current-gen Suikoden. That or Konami is finally getting around to releasing that Suikoden 1 and #@%!7

This news made me so happy !

I am happy to read that Konami hasn't thrown away this franchise just yet!

I do hope they release, whatever they are releasing on the PS3 or PSP, and ofcourse other platforms for all I care.

As long as either of those 2 is included in the list of consoles, I'm happy =D
