MGS: Peace Walker - Image 1

Worried that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will not have enough single-player experience, or if there will even be one at all? Put your worries to rest cos Sean Eyestone of Kojima Productions has confirmed that there will indeed be a single-player mode.

In the latest Kojima Productions podcast, The KP Report Session 099, Eyestone reassures:

Of course there will be. It's Metal Gear. It always features a really deep story and there will be a full-featured single-player mode. So don't worry about that. You'll be able to enjoy it either way.

Furthermore:

By no means are we sacrificing the single-player mode. It will still have a deep story; it will still have a very fun single-player mode. We're not going to gear it totally towards co-op. You'll be able to have fun with it either way you decide to play it.

And there you have it. For the full podcast get it via the source link below.

» This was a concern?

I mean, yeah, the trailer showed four Snakes working together but anyone who thought that would be the WHOLE game obviously wasn't seeing the bigger picture. It was just a trailer, not a representation of everything the game will embrace.

» Well @ least

Hideo Kojima's word can be trusted... Unlike FFXIII's producer who said th@ PS3's vrsn will be compromised because of the deving on the 360. He told us th@ nothing will happen 2 da PS3 vrsn, THEN he admits the latter shortly after!!!
