Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - Image 1

Let's face it. No matter how badly we may want to, not all of us can just go to Japan and get some hands-on time with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. For the lucky few, however, Kojima Productions has detailed the playable demos they're bringing to TGS 09.

First off, there are two ways to play the demo. You can line up at the Peace Walker Demo Play Area and get your hands on a demo unit. If you'd rather not wait in line, you can download a copy of the demo from the Demo Download Areas.

The one at the Demo Play Area is different, though, as it contains one extra mission that's not included in the downloadable demo. Those who play the demo will also get a t-shirt, a special badge, and some TGS-exclusive PSP button attachments. Here's what it contains:
  • Tutorial/Opening (1 Player) - This mission includes the introduction of the story, the explanation of the control schematics, and a training session. Recommend for first-time players.
  • Neutralize the Stronghold (1 - 2 Players) - This is a sneaking mission in which the player must neutralize a base that is under enemy control. For intermediate players.
  • Infiltrate the Mountain Facility (1 - 2 Players) - This is a sneaking mission in which the player must infiltrate an enemy facility that is located in a mountainous region. For intermediate players.
  • Tank Battle (1 - 4 Players) - This mission's goal is the disarmament of the enemy tank and reinforcements. For advanced players.
The downloadable version of the demo will not include the "Infiltrate the Mountain Facility" mission. Those who opt for the download should also make sure that their units are at firmware 6.00 and that they have at least 200MB of free space on their memory sticks.

If you're planning to go to TGS 09 next week, check out the source below for a map of where you can play the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo.

Hey look it's yet another cool looking PSP game. This is why I have one to do my portable gaming on and not a useless 'has games only marginally more advanced than mobile phone games' iphone/ipod.

Oh that meant you can only play it on FW 6.00, THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU NEED FW 6.00 TO DOWNLOAD IT!

You need FW6.00 to PLAY the demo but you DONT need 6.00 to download the game.

Oh do I need to admit the truth, lookie at Soul Calibur for PSP, it wouldnt work on any FW except for 5.55 but hackers seemed to have been able to PATCH the game to work on CFW's below 5.55.

Arent you overexaderating the fact when you said "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Y BACK IN THE GOOD OLE DAYS!" cause it wasnt way back, you can still do it.

The person who took WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAYYY back in the good ole days too seriously, I gotta admit the truth, you really take **** like this too seriously cause its a SAYING! Not for real because you can still do it.

Hey Im John Koller and Im stupid.
