Koei to bring Dragoneer's Aria in Europe by February 2008 - Image 1

PlayStation Portable RPG Dragoneer's Aria from Nippon Ichi Software was released in North America and Japan back in August 2007. Quite interestingly, the game was received differently by the two markets. While it got a warm reception in Japan, west-based websites and magazines, on the other hand, gave it mediocre reviews.

Seems a deadlock, eh? Well, that will definitely change in a couple of months after Nippon Ichi announced that it will be releasing Dragoneer's Aria in Europe by February of next year. Distribution will be handled by Koei and the company's sales manager Will Curley had this to say:

When you can combine the talents of some of the world's most experienced RPG developers, with the man responsible for the awesome character design in Lineage II and the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach then you clearly have something worth getting excited about.

Dragoneer's Aria revolves around the story of Valen Kesslar and the events that transpired during his graduation day. The ceremony saw the return of six elemental dragons but the black dragon Nidhogg appeared and injured the Water Dragon.

Aside from already mentioned, Dragoneer's Aria also sports some exciting features such as recipe and crafting that allow players to come up with new accessories and weapons. There's also the Dragooner Mode which enables co-op mode (two to four players) via the PSP's wireless LAN.
