Koei Tecmo provides monetary incentives for employees to make more babies

The global population may be ballooning like mad, but Koei Tecmo seems to think that there aren't enough Dynasty Babies to form a strikeforce. If China has the One-Child policy to discourage procreation, Koei Tecmo does the exact opposite, providing monetary incentives for their employees to have more babies.

There's a demotivational poster here somewhere - Image 1

Moderation is key

Starting this month, any employee who has his/her third child will receive a gift payment with an equivalent of US$ 20,300. For first time parents, it's just US$ 1,000. For second-timers, it's about US$ 2,000. There's nothing about how much they'd give for a fourth child and so on, but at that point, I'd rather Koei Tecmo hand out condoms instead, that's just me.

Before Koei and Tecmo merged, they gave their employees US$ 1,000 each time they had a child. Now that they've merged, they've got more resources to get those lovers to get it on.

» More sex please.

Gaming prostitution anyone?

Wow, that was a horrible joke. Does that make me a bad person?

Probably a trick to get people with more than one child to come forward, or they genuinely want to help out their staff.

» Wrong interpretation

Everyone knows that having a kid will cost you much more than $1000-$2000 in the long run. The company is just trying to help employees that choose to have families. Having a family makes you more dependent on your job and may make you work harder. No one is going to have a kid just because their employer gives you a little bonus.

WTF does that have to do with the topic at hand?

by Impuls3 - 2009-06-09 03:50
» hmm...

It's good for those who were trying to have a kid even without that bonus being there. I commend koei tecmo for watching out for their staff.

» more condoms - agreed

that's the last thing we need - more japs.

by girandhistacos - 2009-06-09 06:30
» What?

Oh my God! What the hell is wrong with you? Even as a joke that was completely inappropriate.

The reason that people need to stop procreating is because every year it seems we have more and more people like you.

Stupid, insensitive, bigots with self-righteous attitudes that think it's okay to just spew this non-sensical GARBAGE wherever they see fit.

» Oh whaaaa!

Get over it. Stop being offended by people's opinions. People trying to be monitors of what people say. I wish people would quit *****ing about being "offended" by everything.

» huh?

Since when did active discrimination become an opinion?

So, Fenix... you're saying that poopoopilot's moronic comment was perfectly alright, and yet my opinion (which was obviously well founded) is merely whining?

Your misguided attempt at being neutral shows just how appropriate my comment was.

by Fenix1186 - 2009-06-09 14:52
» argh

Yours IS just whining in relation to his original comment. He had an opinion and you complained about it with your own about how "wrong" it was.

» I mean

If people would stop crying about what other people say all the time it wouldn't get as much publicity or notice. If you just let it fly over your head it will fade into a dim memory. Just think about it. I mean you see HUGE things on the news that some guy said the n word (for example). If the black community wouldn't have made a big deal about it, no one would have known. But instead they have to complain and ***** about it til who ever said it has to apologize to the black community. I mean give me a break. Just ignore it and move on.
