Koei creates Koei Kyoto Office

Koei recently announced the creation of a new office in the Kyoto region of Japan, possibly a new expansion that will focus on making new IP for the famous game publisher.

Currently dubbed the Koei Kyoto Office, the studio will be up and ready in 2008 in the Shijo Karasuma area. Unfortunately, there are no plans mentioned for the studio as of yet. This does leave us wondering what we'll get from their Kyoto office in the future.

Hopefully, it'll be some new IP that take the best out of their Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Dynasty Warriors games and put them into a new mold with added features. Perhaps even an expansion of their new Bladestorm or Fatal Inertia games. In the meantime, we'll stick to watching out what the company has in store for us gamers.
