PlayStation Credit Card - Image 1The economy's spinning around the toilet, tempting deals and new releases everywhere we look, layoffs left and right, and now this - the PlayStation Credit Card. With so much to buy and so little to spend, a gaming credit card may not be the best thing to have right now.

The hardest part is that the darn thing will save us US$ 150 when we buy a PS3 starting today until the 31st of December. Really tempting. The PlayStation Credit Card even earns points with every purchase of PlayStation and Sony products. Follow the source link and find out how to apply.

Even if we run the risk of overspending, let's just face it - having a PlayStation Credit Card is just damn cool.

indeed sounds cool to have one. i wouldnt mind getting one if these points can be used on the psn or sonystyle or what not. im a big fan of sony and all but i cant help but think that there totally in it for the money that they can make off the ppl. or rather the interest they will make off all the purchases, to make up for all the development costs of the ps3. but damn $150 off of a ps3? thats just to good to pass up. i wouldnt mind getting a 2nd one >.< hell maybe a new sony tv

I didn't know people were still stupid enough to use credit cards, especially in this economic climate.

Still it's their stupid spendings that carry us out of recession. And when they can't pay it back they then become the problem.

I didn't know people were till stupid thinking about avoidig a great deal because of the recession. You have money? take the card, have the PS3 for 250 bucks which is a F*cking great deal and pay it back as soon as you've got the bill. Now use the card to buy your usual stuff (ex: food) and pay the bill immediatly so the only thing you get is POINTS TO BUY STUFF. So at the end you'll have a PS3 for 250 and tons of free stuff because you didn'T pay any interest... stupid people are the ones that doesn't know how to use a card.

» lets not sit on our high horse here

it's not the credit cards that are stupid. it's the people that use them.

the credit card is a very convenient thing to have. if you pay if off every month it's almost like borrowing money interest free. and most come with some sort of perks.

also in an emergency it's sometimes worth it to be charged the interest. would you rather be stranded on the highway with no gas and no cash or no gas and a credit card??
