Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - new details and scans unveiled |

So, what's Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep really about? The Kingdom Hearts title for the Sony PlayStation Portable will be about the exploits of three new characters - Terra, Ven, and a third that's yet to be named. Each character will have his own scenario that revolves pretty much around them, told in their own perspectives.
What makes this an exciting bit of news is that all three are drastically different from each other, from their appearances and personalities to their abilities - which makes each scenario feeling like an entirely new Kingdom Hearts game altogether. Tai Yasue, co-director of Birth by Sleep, joked that players may think that the game itself was created by three development teams, with the gameplay experience of one scenario totally contrasting from the others.
If you take a look at the scans, you'll notice that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep has a command menu system that's similar to that of the two previous titles on the PS2. Tetsuya Nomura, director, confirms this by saying that of all the upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles, Birth by Sleep will in fact be closer to the originals, in terms of combat and action.
However, he also mentioned that it will also take from the Chain of Memories game, with your commands also taking the form of a card deck menu. A bit contradicting, but with three different characters with three different playstyles, it could be that Nomura was simply mentioning that of one character, while the scans are of that of the other characters'.
Youichi Yoshimoto, co-producer, also have away hints about the game's Character Growth system. While he didn't spill the entire beans, he did mention that the development team was looking into a few prototypes where players would have to hook with other players' PSPs. Multiplayer in Kingdom Hearts? It's possible, but Nomura had already confirmed that only the Nintendo DS title would have actual multiplayer, so it could be an entirely different gig.

It's Terra, Ven, and Aqua! It was announced a couple of days ago.... It stands for earth, wind, and water (as opposed to earth, sky, and sea with Riku, Sora, and Kairi)

Actually, 358/2 follows the story of Roxas. Don't confuse (Is it Terra or Ven?) the Roxas lookalike with the real Roxas. The screens are purely from Birth by Sleep.
yes. Love KH series. even if Donald and Goofy are in it. In this one it looks like you dont have to team up with the two idiots :D. I feel bad that this game is going to end up being pirated. Please buy the game when it gets here ppl.
