Also, we can now see that the original Nintendo DS is finally being sold out. It was the #2 console last week, but supplies must be almost used up with the arrival of the DS Lite. It might just make the push to 6.5 million sold before it's finally put to rest. The DS Lite on the other hand has almost certainly hit 1 million by now.
In other console news, the PSP beat out the PS2 for the first time in a while. However, numbers are unimpressive when you consider the fact that the White PSP Core System launched last week. It also beat the original DS, something it doesn't exactly do regularly, but that's not really saying anything anymore. Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai did make the top 5 though. The highly anticipated Okami hit PS2s and so did Dragon Quest: Yangus. Both cracked the top 10.
Good news for Xbox 360 fans, its sales were also more than double last week's amount, mostly due to the #11 game of the week, Ninety-Nine Nights. Hopefully games like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey will also spur sales.

THEY ALL SMELLED LIKE POOP!
Oh god, and the game ended with putting their minds in gay little trashcan robot bodies for the final climactic battle. Why cant they just let this horrid game dissapear into the bowels of gaming history?

PSP emulated gba roms will always be painfuly slow.
Thats a promise. Unless there will soon be a PSP2 then do not hold your breath for complex games to ever run at full speed on the P(Slow)P no matter what firmware yours is.
Q.E.D
Prognosis:- buy a 2nd hand gb micro for 40 bones

Bring the white psp over here and it will sell out instantly. Come on sony the japanese know nothing about style.
Can't wait until Roco Loco comes out in japan and when good RPGs come out for the PSP, it will take off and never look back. Also there is a rumor that Squeenix is planning to show a DragonQuest game for the PSP. Then we can start making comparisons.
I'm really happy the DS is killing in Japan though. It has many good games and its making sony and others realease better and better games for the PSP (which is an amazing machine by any standards). The hendheld market will finally balance itself by christmas.
