Japan software sales for April 23-29: FF XII Revenant Wings on top |

It was a not-so-good week for Sony-loving folks. You see, the software chart for April 23 to 29 show nothing but video games for Nintendo hardware in it.Now, the Nintendo DS title saturation is a given, since we all know by now that everyone and his pet monkey have a DS in Japan, what's noteworthy though in this week's charts is the general improvement of the rankings of Nintendo Wii video games, and the slowdown of PlayStation Portable (PSP) and PS2 titles in the charts.
If one can recall, the PSP and the PS2 were doing relatively well in the previous weeks. It seems that everyone who bought Final Fantasy I 20th Anniversary Edition for the PSP and Persona 3 for the PS2 also bought Square Enix's Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the DS.

You should of shown Japans top 50, interestingly the PS3 has NO games in it whereas the 360 has TWO.

Schon. Die PSP zu kaufen statt dem DS war mein grösster Fehler des letzten Jahres.
I think its about time Nintendo takes control of the video game industry again. I am a big Nintendo fan. But as Nintendo in the past had slacked off big time. They finally thought it through and came back and hit it big time for there newest creation the Wii.
I am as well a big Sony PSP fan as well. That and PS2. But it looks like Sony is gonna be losing a lot of money if they don't lower there prices on PS3 and such. But still Sony PSP so far is the best Hand Held gaming console out there so yeah. NintendoDS light is a great console as well but only a very few selected games that I would play.
i hope when you say "select few", pokemon diamond and pearl is one of them. i just got it a few days ago, and all i can say is that it's AMAZING
I love seeing these goddamn vulture-companies not selling there products because of their totally *****ed up prices. HA....hahahaha
Looks like Nintendo will own the world again... This will be an interesting year indeed
