N+ developers has new game in the works: Robotology - Image 1Fans of the ninja-themed platformer N+ will be glad to know that the devs behind the game, Metanet Software, are currently working on a new title.

Whispers of the new game has been around for a while, but because it's still early in its development stages, not much is known about the game yet.

Here's what we know of the game so far: it sounds fairly like N+, except set in a world of robots. The tip-off on the robots part came from the game's tentative name: Robotology.

Robotology is to a 2D physics-based platformer (sounds familiar?). The game will somehow involve grappling hooks, and robots. The style of the game is also said to be similar to N+, only more complex.

No platform has been announced for the game yet, but if it's going to follow in the footsteps of N+, it would probably appear on the PSP, DS, and XBL. Hopefully, they'll also consider the PlayStation 3 and the Wii as potential platform releases as well (especially with WiiWare just around the corner).
