If you want the captions and the descriptions for the images, feel free to head to the actual entry through our Via link below. Word of warning though, it's in Japanese, so better use one of those online translation engines that spout this weird Engrish. Yeah, go get lost in translation.

They can be hooked up to a ps monitor or a tv (not sure) and the use the psp as a controller. They have no UMD door because the dat is directly streamed via the development kits pc (google it, it has some sort of special computer in order to hook it up to the kit and play games via teh monitor)
They use the monitor because it is better to detect small flaws that way and it's easier on the eyes.
They do not use UMD because they cannot test the engine etc. by writing only a few UMDs at 1 time and when a change is made they would need new UMDs. So it is a lot cheaper and more efficient to load the games directly via the deveopment kit. Plus UMDs are probably only made by at least 1000 at one go. (minimal output to secure profit over UMDs and secure that no idiots would only make 1 UMD at a time costing sony a lot of money etc.)
Plus if you owe the game Daxter for the psp you could unlock videos/pictures of which some have the development kit/psp in it!
Hope to have informed you all a bit more about this little piece of machinery ;)

thats an actual PSP, like yours, like mine except these psp have NO UMD drive for what reason you ask?
because its doesnt need 1. you hook it up to an actual development kit machine or PC, which has the actual programmed game for the psp.
you will use this tool to actually see if your created game runs properly on a real PSP. easily debug a psp GAME without having to create a UMD.
if you want your psp to output video to a TV then just buy and install this http://www.modchipman.com/psp-tv-p-597.html
