If you've enjoyed Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee or what is otherwise known as Minna No Golf Portable on your Sony PSP units, then you will be happy to know that a sequel has just been confirmed by the company.

Details are still scarce as of the moment but it has been said that Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 will come with eight players support via Ad-Hoc and with up to 16 players when online. Aside from that, it was also mentioned that there will be a total of 12 different courses.

Given those details, we really can't help but say that game did improve a lot in just a matter of few years. The prequel, for example only had six courses and eight people support during wireless play.

While waiting for more details about the characters and the different customization options the series is known for, just take a look at this debut trailer video for Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2. Enjoy!

» hmm

will there be an infrastructure-mode? that's something that a golf-game needs.

hmm..

ok, like 80% of psp games do need an online mode..

i dont get it, why does every nintendo ds game have some kind of online mode but almost no psp game?

» Agreed

Yah i definitely agree with you, more games on the PSP need to utilize the Infrastructure Mode... and this game has been confirmed to use INFRASTRUCTURE for 16 players so that should be incredible....

but thats not to say that the PSP is completely void of Infrastructure games....

1. Medal of Honor 1 and 2 (The best infrastructure in my opinion with support for 32 PLAYERS0

2. Wipeout Pulse

3. NBA Live

4. Madden

5. MLB

6. Twisted Metal

7. Worms 2 Open Warfare

8. Socom

9. Syphon Filter

10. MGS,

there are more im sure im leaving out but those are the ones that come to mind... but this will be a great addition to the INFRASTRUCTURE library

» cool

I didn't know that HSG2 will have infrastructure. +D

Btw, what I also hate is that many games that actually have infrastructure have problems, like lags.

for example worms open warfare 2 had big lags which made the game boring (online).

also, i saw too many cheaters on moh

anyway, lets hope more online-games will come out fpr the psp in the remaining 7 years
