Buy Nothing Day
I'm more into the "79$" wii deal at amazon (ULTRA LIMITED), lol.
My black friday will be spent at Fry's. :) Anyhow, why is it called "black" friday. I thought black was metaphorically used for bad things. You know, like "black magic" "black wizard", a synonym for "dark". What's so evil about saving some money?!
Hope your kidding about not knowing why it's called Black Friday.
haha the is for Halo 3 legendary edition (still overpriced.....) Well, what if people dont know why its called Black Friday? dont you think its because we are not born in USA? Foreign people doesnt knows why is it called Black Friday, I dont even know why is it called that way... Possibly Iamback didnt grew up within the american culture, or possibly isnt enough bond to it to know certain things about it... I lived long in the usa and I dont know some things essential to others, like thanksgiving or independence day, I didnt celebrated them... "Black Friday" was originally so named because of the heavy traffic on that friday after Thanksgiving, although most contemporary uses of the term refer instead to it as the beginning of the period in which retailers are in the black (i.e., turning a profit).
