SCEJ has announced that Higurashi Daybreak Portable on the PSP is now part of the official list of games supporting the Ad hoc Party service. Looks like gamers in Japan finally have some added incentive in sitting through those load times.

It's not all that surprising, considering that the game is built on some 2-vs.-2 gameplay, much like the Gundam vs. [Blahblah] games. Much to say, Daybreak's got "Party" written all over it.

The PSP port of the PC game also has a demo already available on the PlayStation Network. The demo is around 80MB huge, and is currently only available in Japan.

The game was released just the other week in Japan (Nov 27 to be exact), and from the looks of it, this is going to be an import-only title for those in western shores. Tough luck.

» So it's just this and the games that were announced before?

Sounds to me like they'll eventually get all games or atleast most of them to be ad-hoc compatible. Here's hoping.
