Harvest Moon: Innocent Life Screenshots

New screenshots for Harvest Moon: Innocent Life for the PSP have surfaced. The game features graphics which look very similar to Harvest Moon 64. The game has received a total of 29/40 (7/7/8/7) from Famitsu. The screenshots seem to show that this newest instalment will feature more locations than the average Harvest Moon game. It's set in a tropical island, which is also a change from most of the games in the series. The changes aren't too surprising because the game actually wasn't developed by Natsume, it was developed by ArtePiazza. There is currently no North American release date.

I personally think the homebrew HM will be better; it is actually taking into account what people want wrather than what "features" the developers "decide" to toss at people - unfortunately these "features" are usually "nuisances" that can't be corrected once the UMD is bought.

.

I really hope this doesn't deviate too much from the Harvest Moon formula. From the pictures they look like they've added a bit too much to the game, it's supposed to be a farming sim first, everything else second

Are you kidding me?

Personally I'm looking forward to Homer's new take. It's still in the pre-alpha stage but looks very promising based on the progress they've made already and the quality of the artwork. Who knows if Innocent Life will ever be released in the States? Based on how US releases have been turning out for the PSP I'm not holding my breath. Thank G_d for homebrew!!

Natsume Didn't Develop Any Of The Games

They just translated it for North America. It's Marvelous that developped the old Harvest Moon games.

I kinda feel...

I think that 2 things could happen: a. Very crappy game (I love harvest moon, but the future thing and the robot-kid dosen't sound pretty good) b. It will never go outside Japan (when they have a very interesting RPG that it is not Final Fantasy, they don't release it outside of Japan)

I'm so getting this if it gets to Europe.

...

This sucks because the won't release the game for N. America like they did with the other harvest moon that has already come out only in Japan.

Innocent Life?

What's with the title Innocent Life? Is it supposed to mean something? Like if you play this game you're innocent, but if you play Grand Theft Auto you're guilty?
