Guilty Gear XX Accent Core - Image 1

If you're a big 2D fighting game fan and you demand that there be more action of that sort on your Sony PSP, relief is coming your way. Sighted in Famitsu Taiwan's latest issue is news that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is heading to the handheld this July.

This means that players will now be able to enjoy pretty much the same slashing brawler that they did on the PlayStation 2. Like its console counterpart, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus will have additional characters and modes for more replay value.

One of the most intriguing new features is the ad hoc-supported Team Battle mode which can have three players at the same time entering a tournament. We're not sure how that'll work out, but as long as we have our blades and we can pull off sick combos, this one should be fun like the rest of the series has been.

» Awesome..

I just got this game on the PS2, and it is the best Fighting games available on any system IMO. I'm not a big fan of 3D fighters either, so this is great news.
