Screen size and resolution are to different things!! you have a computer and you dnt know the difference.

in my opinion the PSP is way better than the DS OR DSi.the PSP can run ALMOST anything a DS can.

Until XBox Portable is out that is.

Actually the fact is, the reason DSi LL is selling more than a PSP GO is because of multiple reasons, its a Nintendo handheld and last but not least, it has a way cheaper price tag than a GO does.



Who the **** would buy a 250 dollar handheld, when they can buy a DSi LL?



Yes they could buy a PSP 3000, way cheaper than GO but everyone thinks the Go is a brand spanking new handheld, so everyone buys a DSi LL because it has a cheaper price tag.

It would make it the DSi's retarded little brother, the DSi LL has barely been released compared to the older DSi.

Lol @ b-k24's comment. I thought the same thing when they announced the DSi LL. The screen looks at least 50% larger...making the pixels even fatter. The DSi's resolution was already small enough--that'll just make it worse.

there are mods for the touchscreen, but who cares? Touchscreens are stupid gimmicks for people who think 'omaigawrsh cool' at something like that. Okay, so there's like maybe 5 handheld lifetime hours of that actually feeling fresh and innovative... And then it's seriously just a waste of time to make games more complicated to make if they accommodate for functionality with it. Advance wars: there's I and II on GBA, shined up graphics aren't necessary. Mario Kart: there's fifty others. Poke'mon: THE NEW ONES SUCK ANYWAY. Kirby: millions. FF: they're on the PSP too, and much better looking. Bombed to hell.

raggedjimmi is right, the PSP CAN NOT do what the DS can. Most of the games are built around the touchscreen. It's called casual game play and it's a #1 hit. Which brings us to SaDuWo idiot comment. Gimmick? Obviously you are dead wrong as countless millions on top of millions of people highly disagree with you.

Whilst I don't completely agree on the casual front, since touchscreen controls speed up gameplay on the more hardcore titles (FFTA2, Metroid).



But no, the PSP doesn't come with a touchscreen. People can mod it all they want - it wont have the full support as the DS does. Read up on what counts as "standard hardware".



That's a rather poor argument against the games I listed. There's no need for new Advance Wars? Using this logic theres already a Final Fantasy I-III on the NES, I guess we don't need any more with "shined up graphics", seeing that we're completely disregarding gameplay, engine and multiplayer enhancements. Name 50 Kart games better than Mario Kart DS. Good luck. There's a Final Fantasy Tactics 2 and FF3+4 DS remakes on PSP? Oh you must link me to these! Yea - they don't exist!



And finally, the DS is the best selling games console of all time. I honestly don't think Nintendo cares if you don't buy a DS.

Me too.... The past 2 (or 3?) iterations of it I never even heard of until some weird news (like this) comes up about it.

i love how ppl keep saying that their personal preference is better than others. ok OBVIOUSLY PSP is a better handheld. it costs more too. i wouldnt want my kids playing my $100-300 fragile handheld. so thanks to nintendo we have an option that is both affordable and durable. as for the stylus and touch screen being a gimmick, no way. the games use would determine how gimmicky it is. touchpad technology has been in laptops for decades and allows mouse functionality. calling such a basic pc function a gimmick is just stupid. personally just like my psp a whole lot more. i like the screen size and firmware of the psp a million times more. movies pictures music internet and games on one portable console. nothing beats it. only problem i really have with ds though is simply that FF3 and 4 remakes woulda been a million times better as PSN titles than ds games and the zelda *****n blew.

The handheld of choice depends on what a person wants. In other words, neither is better and neither is worse. But I wouldn't expect a dummy such as yourself to understand such a simple concept.
