Soundtrack

The music in the PS2 Vice City was amazing! I can only hope that they put some great music in it. I was not so much enthralled with the GTA:LCS soundtrack. The GTA:SA soundtrack was good as well but I really think the ViceCity era music was so much better. I really hope they put the website up soon as too see what music will be on it.

The vice city for PS2 was such a great title, with a great story, BUT I never liked that the city was kind of small. I hope they would fix that in someway... of course I will buy this bad boy!

OMG the music in LCS was horrible! to get any rock on it I had to make me a custom soundtrack! Vice City actually had OZZY! and other great 80's metal. Sony, time for better music on PSP! please

Even if it does use 2.8 or 3.0 firmware those will be integrated into devhook too. I give it about a week maybe two after 2.8 is released until we see it in devhook. After all how many more ways can sony come up with to try and lock us out? You really don't need to find an exploit in the firmware to get it to work through devhook. I also don't think that this will sell as well as the first since most bought LCS for the exploit. My friend bought a used one at ebgames took it home and downgraded his psp to 1.5 and then took the game back and all it cost him was about 3 bucks in gas.

GTALCS was a great addicting game but I personally feel that it ended way too quickly and I felt cheated not having any planes or choppers. I hope that they fix these two problems that I feel greatly flawed the last game. -Thanks

Thats because you are a moron and don't realise the PSP is no where near capable of GTA SA, and i suppose your the type of user the expects to copy that 700mb 640x352 48Khz DVDRip straight to PMP and expect flawless playback arn't you, or better yet perfect n64 emulation which will NEVER happen.

Why buy the game.

Why should we buy this game I see no point they will just release it for the ps2 for 19.99 like they did with LCS which pissed me off. I refuse to buy this game for that reason until the ps2 version comes out because at least the ps2 19.99 price saves me 30 bucks. Also I spent 2 days to beat all the main missions in GTA:LCS it doesnt give much for gameplay when it runs that short.

to # 52 - sooo not cool. Anyways GTA:LCS was a big let down in the playability stakes. I mean sure it had it's good points (being portable) but the missions were kinda repetitive (drive here, shoot this guy or ram this car). The music also got very repetitive. I realise that the game is meant to be playable on the psp, let's face it, it may be powerful but I believe that it is nowhere near as good as the PS2. It will be interesting to see what rockstar choose to leave out to make the game run smoothly. I surely hope that rockstar have some new and interesting missions. I like going around killing ***** (on the psp) but can't we have that in new, interesting ways and not the same old re-hash?

indeed my favourite game of all time was vice city for PS2 simply because of the soundtrack. i luved video killed the radio star by the buggles. i hope the VCS for the psp will be similar cos i would def go out and buy it on launch day

Repetitive music? That is easily solved with the custom tracks app. You could listen to anything from Gay Bar to My Lollipop while you shoot people. Otherwise, i agree, Its the only GTA that i didn't complete. Becoming an over populated genre. Having said that, has been one of the best PSP games. Says alot for my opinion of the current line up of games.. Bring on Ace Combat X

Um, hate to rain on you fellows' parade, but, erhm... MY Liberty City Stories game has a helicopter on it, I don't know about yours. *COUGH COUGH COUGH* Yeah, from what I saw there was no flyable (by normal means) helicopter in LCS in spite of the fact that its box art has a helicopter in the EXACT SAME PLACE. Rest assured, Vice City Stories will have flyable copters in it, but this isn't your difinitive proof.

if there is an exploit in this game, which i highly doubt there is (sony would kill rockstars ass!), u will be forced to update to 2.8. And sony really arnt stupid enough to not update and secure the kernel mode exploit, so im sorry everyone, but thats sony for you!

Compatibility

I believe the PSP is strong enough to play San Andreas. I mean look, these are FIRST - GEN games for the PSP, developers aren't used to coding REALLY good games like that yet. Look at the PS2, the first lineup games looked horrible. So, in my perspective, we have a LONG WAY to go before we can start judging whether or not our PSP's can handle this or that.... yeh No.63 is correct! the games will get better! i think this VCS game will be just like vice city but slightly different missions!! there wont be any major extraz like pains and parachute (stuff from san andreas) but it will be a basic port of the origional but different people and storys! (i think so anyway!) (my opinion anyway [im entitled to it]) cant wait for it anyway vice city was the best of the lo0t! never finished san andreas tho just installing it now!!!! (vicy city was the best on PC windows with the mouse ohhhhhhh!!! killing was so much more fun with total controll woith the mouse!!!! love the sound track to vice city!!! If you don't like it don't buy it!!!! that simple, there needs to be a change in this game. In GTA: LCS there was alot of things that you could do in San andreas, like Running with M4 or selling cars and alot of stuff, but I hope they make who ever the character is going to be "swim" please. And a great story too, I didn't like LCS finally. it sucked, But I had a lot of fun killing my friends.
