Ah, street dates. These things get broken more often than Elijah Price's bones. If you happen to live near a Target store, you might want to check their shelves for a PSP copy of Gran Turismo. We heard that some have already been sighted in the wild world of retail.

Tipster Santiago Avalos informs us that Gran Turismo for PSP is already available at his local target for US$ 39.99. The game's supposed to launch officially on October 1st. We have no idea which Target location this was spotted in, though. Here's a pic he took Monday night:

I'd let them know they're wrong and get that game off the shelf.

» I work at Target

and i know that if a product has a release date you CANNOT sell it before it. The coputer will not allow it. It pops up with a message saying in GT's case "This product cannot be sold until Oct 1st 2009". We have the game too in SC but its no use putting it out.

Please Please Please Please let Yoshihiro bring out this hack to play GT on older fw's before it's released.

» uhh...

if its on the shelf, they should have sold that it to you.

i bought my guitar hero: metallica about a week and a half early from a nearby target. after they sold it to me, they took it off the shelf.

» If

If Sony had a problem with this they'd make Target take it off the shelves, but as long as they don't sell it's good publicity for the game with people talking about it.
