Is the countdown on to something big? Is there a connection between the timer and upcoming releases for the PSP? There is a little room for doubt as the site isn't exactly on the official Sony payroll. so we can suggest that it may be some internal event in the Island of Rhodes.
Whatever it is, it's got the collective imagination of God of War fans captured and riveted. We'll update you for more developments regarding this curious matter.

if you bought GOD War II for the PS2 you know its coming to the PSP, its on the back of the booklet!!!!

psp version will come up the 16th month 48th day of 2007... that would be some time May 2008? =P
Its definately something Sony is doing. Not only does it have the typical Sony disclaimer/barrage of icons on the bottom, but a whois on the domain points right back to Sony.

GoW for PSP isnt going to be out till october.
I got the page source and there was a link in there. I opened the link and downloaded a java script file. When I opened the file, I found a bunch of stuff relating to Sony. I even found some information about God of War and God of War 2.

This site was found when someone got a combo of 999,000 in God of War II. Once that was hit, below the combo meter, instead of saying things like "Olympic!", "Godly!", or "Impossible!", it'd say that website.
if you decompile the city_shell.swf, you will only find some code stuff which generate the countdown in sprite 4 until day: 2007, 4, 13
the javascript stuff is *****... no exactly infos and links
HA HA HA i think dats just an april fools joke, ill b laughtin my azz if it is, i already beat GOW 2 and after u beat it it gets mad better, darn but it gets harder as well!!!
