God of War: Chains of Olympus goes gold, official website opens |
Ó

The highly-anticipated God of War: Chains of Olympus for the Sony PlayStation Portable has just gone gold, with the announcement coming from none other than developer Ready at Dawn studios themselves. It's been a long time coming, and if the demo was anything to go by, it's definitely worth the wait.
In fact, the devs were so happy about it, they've been celebrating nonstop, as seen by the photos posted on their website. And not just that, but the game also has its own website now, and it's definitely Kratos-ish - in the sense that it wants to make us go on an epic quest of revenge and killing and manly grunting.
For the uninitiated, God of War: Chains of Olympus tells of Kratos' exploits in a bloody and epic side-story to the original storyline. Using his trademark Blades of Chaos, as well as some other neat tricks he'll be earning along his journey, players will be able to control Kratos in a quest to pretty much tear Greek Mythology a new one. The newly-opened website explains it pretty well, and if you click on the Media tab, you can watch it unfold via a trailer or two.
In any case, be sure to check out the website in full, and you can easily do this by clicking on the via link below. The game's release date (that is, March 4) can't get here soon enough.

"Sweet", is all that can really be said, here.
sux.
I've been waiting for this game since God of War 2. Well after i beaten it of course. I hope it has those crazy hard levels. Nuring was fun. Counts down til March 4th ^_^
Gone gold with JUST PREORDERS?!!
That's impressive.
Worth $49; Definately buying.
This game has piqued my interest for a while now. I have a small problem with its price, but I can overcome that if the game has a good score. I only get games that score above a 9.0; I hope this game scores well above that. When you have a portable game, you want to squeeze as much fun out as possible. For some reason I expect more from handheld games than console games. I hope this game won't let us down, it better not if it wants my money.
Chains of Olympus isn't that much money.
