Go! Video Download Service: details and release information |
Ó
The last (but certainly not the least) of the three Go! services unveiled for the PlayStation Portable during the Leipzig Games Convention is the Go! Video Download Service. The service will be available in the UK and Ireland in early 2008. What the service basically does is transform the PSP into a portable media library. Users will be able to choose from a diverse number of programs from Sky, Ireland the UK's multi-platform television service. Available programs will include sports, entertainment, movies, music, and animation.
Sky is also in talks with other third-party channel brands to bring in more content. The programs will be available via Wi-Fi or the PC where users can just transfer the videos. Programs will be delivered on a pay per view basis so users will only watch and pay for the programs they want.

1st!, besides being first, id like to ask, by pay per view, does that mean the content can be streamed onto the PSP unit? that would be a godsend
It looks (the pic) like pr0n. Lol.
I created a petition last night to get CS onto the PSP and as of right now
there is 85 signatures.
I contacted QJ.net's PSP Updates but it appears that they are not interested
in helping or we would have already seen a post about it like we did for
CAPCOMS Resident Evil.
I need everybody to start spamming PSP forums that you all belong to and
share the info about this petition with others. I need everybody's help, one
man can't do it all alone.
So spam all PSP releated and even unrelated forums so we can get Americas
favorite online game onto our hand held.
Thanks
would this work for both old and new psp then that would be good for me as im always moving and it uk and irelenad only thats the first feature exclusive to the uk and ireland.
USA got infinte downlo\dable demos off psp browser.
Japan or China got free anime and some ifilter for their psps.
UK and Ireland got T.V. Dont you think thats fair i do.

Looks like spiderman to me ;)
um demos for usa are also compatible with europe and japan so thats not a benefit. and i-filter is some stupid web filtering service. i'd say *****ing europe is getting all the good stuff.
that totally looked like some chick sucking off a black dude. or a horse.
h/o psp video 9 and a copy of anydvd will get the job done much better and cheaper!
If you can't use your current Sky subscription to view stuff for free, then this service will crash and burn. Sky already offers all movies etc free online to subscribers.. If they charge for this they can get bent.
I'll stick to free stuff thanks.
lol dunno
all i know is
pay-per-view + expensive shiz
Yep, I had to zoom in on the image too, definitely looks like someone getting a blowjob, til you get in a bit closer..
pr0n ftw!.
I don't think its gunna do that well, people arn't going to pay for video on there portable when they could just watch it on there TV for free, or just genrally on there PC and if people wanted a TV show that badly on there portable, they would just download it from somewhere of the net, convert it and dump it on there console
I love all the Go! features (apart from I don't think this one will do much, I want GPS!), but I hate who ever named it "Go!" sounds so childish and cheesy.
Petition to get this guy to stfu.
