as much as i liked the game, i dont think it deserved the awards it got. especially best writing award, the story seemed pretty plain to me compared to fallout 1 and 2 (MGS4 should have got this one imo) and was too much like oblivion to get game of the year award.

anyway, yay! Modern warfare 2

Not impressed with Fallout 3 at all. I bought it last week and I've been playing it a fair bit but I can't honestly say I've been enjoying it. I feel like getting trophies is the only reason I've been sticking with it. I just find the game so tedious otherwise. At the part I've reached so far I've found the story to be ridiculously clichéd and none of the characters are at all memorable.

Congrats to LittleBigPlanet though. That game has been constantly entertaining despite the glitches, and lag in the otherwise hugely fun multiplayer.

in my opinion GTA IV should have won the Writing award, and the Game of the year award. People seem to have forgotten what an amazing game it is, it's like it was just a fad or something for a few weeks for most people.

Multiplayer online racing was also really good, i played that for like the entire summer.

» Simple...

Fallout 3 should have got nothing.

* Writing Award: Metal Gear Solid 4 should have got it.

* Game of the Year Award: LittleBigPlanet , Left 4 Dead or Metal Gear Solid 4.

GTA IV and Fallout 3 are too overated - Multiplayer sucked on GTA and single player was ok. They were both too overhyped and overated.

» little big planet? Really?

I played this game when it was called THE INCREDIBLE MACHINE and didn't have a little knit testicle warmer in my face all the time.

Oh, and unlike LBP, the incredible machine didn't suck.
