GC 2007 to give Best of GC award for best software, hardware

This year's Games Convention at Leipzig will once again play host to the Best of GC awards for the best software and hardware exhibited at the event. The Games Convention will take place from August 22 to 26.

The Best of GC award will be handed out to the winners in each of ten available categories. The best game award will be given to games in the DS, Mobile, Online, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360 categories. The Best Hardware award will in turn be given to the most innovative piece of hardware exhibited during the event.

A jury of industry experts will select the winners. The winners will be announced at 11.00 a.m. on August 24 during a press conference at the GC.
