We wanted to provide a place where parents can turn to for neutral, objective information on the games their kids might want to play. We really believe that it's the parents that should be controlling [what games their children play]. And the best way to do that is to tell them the facts so they can make the call.
John Davison is not at all a stranger to the video game industry. He used to be the editor of magazines EGM and the Official PlayStation Magazine for U.S. He also had a stint with UK magazine PC Zone before he eventually joined Ziff Davis. All in all, his experience in the business totals around 16 years.
