Official Nintendo Magazine - Image 1Future, the company that publishes the "Official" line of gaming magazines has reported significant growth in readership from its web and print portfo;ios in the past months thanks in large part to the Xbox 360 and Nintendo wings.

Xbox 360: The Official Xbox Magazine is now officially the fastest-growing game publication in the United Kingdom, circulating 65,673 copies during the past year, clinching a total annual growth of 54 percent.

The Official Nintendo Magazine also did well as a result of the immense and still growing popularity of the DS handheld and the Wii console. The rise in readership was tallied at 35 percent which translated in 47,925 total copies sold.

Future reported declines in the circulation of the Official PlayStation Magazine but explained that this is due to the seasonal lull in game industry activity. It also said that recovery was promising after Blu-ray demo discs were included with each issue after June.

Slow activity was also observed in the multiplatform publications under Future along with its PC-gaming interests. However, it said that its websites GamesRadar and CVG attract 3.25 and 1.56 million users a month respectively.

Nintendo Magazine?

What ever happened to Nintendo Power?

who really read this crap anyway?

I mean, the "official" magazine are useless since they are biased toward their owner (xbox magazine ways that their games is better while psm say their games are better (or look better on their platform) while nintendo says they are special). And anyway, why pay for a magasine when TONS of magazine are already online, and updated hourly instead of montly (gamespot, IGN, 1up, even Qj in a way). ps: @AoxomamoxoA: I suppose they meant nintendo power by the nintendo magzine, since the nintendo power is the name of the official nintendo magazine.

??????????????/

i personaly think the playstation magazine has fallen down the charts because ps3 owners can download demos of games from the psn (playstation network),for nothing! i used to always buy ps2 mags mainly for the demo discs, and they where £5.99 for a dvd demo disc, imagine how much the blueray demo discs will cost,£7 or 8. no thanks!

You're wrong...

You're wrong because game demos are free to download in xbox live... In fact mostly everything is free to download in live, this considering that most xbox owners have an xbox live account (my trick is making many e-mails and getting new trials every month, and that's what all my friend do). PS: Did you actually buy the nagazines for the demos? XD

OPM cover disk is a joke at the moment...

OPM blue ray demo disk is pathetic at the moment, 1] everything on it is on the PSN store... 2] if 1, wasnt bad enough, first they only put a couple of the demos on for the first 2 months, then they put them on the disk again... 3] and their still not filling the disk!!!!
