Delayed

Hate to disappoint you, guys. But unfortunately, the November release of Rainbow Six Vegas for both the PS3 and PSP won't be pushing through. Instead, you'd have to wait until January 30 of next year before you can get your hands on it.

Reportedly, Ubisoft's decision to delay its release may have something to do with the game's online component. It could be that the developers are only receiving additional information on the PlayStation Network just now, hence the need to do some last minute brush-ups on its online functions. Well, at least that's the theory.

But then again, the multiplayer experience the game can supposedly provide is the clincher for its marketing success. So we guess it's only right that Ubisoft holds up to its end of the bargain in ensuring that we get exactly what they promised. Getting more won't be so bad, either.

Keep posted here for more updates.

I wouldn't know how it played on a 360 even if I had one, as I'd probably kill myself if I owned that piece of crap.

i dont know why idiots get all worked up when a game or system is delayed.. DELAYS ARE GOOD!

Would you rather have a *****ing piece of shyt game or console now? or wait an extra month or two and get the perfect thing? Use your head people, things are delayed so they can be further improved. If a major bug is found, that will ruin the entire game, and they must hold it back a little to get it good to go.

Unexpected problems can happen at any time, THATS WHY THEY ARE CALLED UNEXPECTED! If a developer feels they need an extra month or two to get their product in the perfect shape for their consumers, then they have every right to, and people shouldn't complain like idiots.

I know no1 has said anything complaining about the delay yet since the news was just posted a little while ago, but that was just for the people who want to complain.

Georgeous game, only second to Gears of War and playing online will be a dream (do you think the PS3 version will have online capabilities, because it will be disapointing, like Virtua Tennis 3, for the 360 online play and none for the PS3)

if you read the article you would have seen that the game is delayed most likely due to a problem in the online portion of the game..

so yes, of course Vegas has online play..

So, why didn't Sony wait instead of rushing the system? I mean, if games got delayed because of so called "Network Component missing", then why even bother releasing the console right now. Who would release the console before the online dev kits? Why didn't they just release it next year with the European launch to give everyone equal opportunity. Now Europeans are pissed.... I know it's Christmas, but it doesn't really matter anymore because there aren't any PS3 consoles anyways. They only shipped 260,000 including Japan. Way too low for the original 480,000 mark.
