Daxter Entertainment Pack - Image 1Sony has just sent out a press wire for a new PSP Slim package now available for purchase. The kit is dubbed the Daxter PSP Entertainment Pack, and as you've probably guessed, contains a copy of Ready At Dawn's Daxter game, among other goodies. Here's a shortlist of what comes with the US$ 199.99 package:
  • Daxter (game)
  • The Family Guy: The Freakin' Sweet Collection (Video collection)
  • "Ice Silver" PSP-Slim system
  • 1 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
Noticeably missing from the pack are the Slim's cables - Sony noted that they're going to be available later during the year. Both the Component AV Cable (For playing games on a monitor)and AV Cable (for video out) will sell for US$ 19.99 each. Further along this September, Sony will also be releasing the PSP Slim "Piano Black" core package. This contains the aforementioned PSP, a standard AC adaptor, a battery pack, and will cost US$ 169.99.

And finally, for the Star Wars fans, we've got the limited-edition Star Wars Battlefront PSP Entertainment Pack. This combo entitles buyers to a special "Ceramic White" PSP Slim with Darth Vader's image emblazoned on the back, as well as a copy of Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. The Battlefront pack will cost US$ 199, and is expected to launch on October 9.

» It's the same in all Europe

Not only in UK... it's the same for the rest of Europe. And here, in europe PSP slim base (without nothing else than the console) costs $232,04... always a lot more than USA and it is the base one, without MS, game or film.

Sony always the same ¬¬'

» pls spk english!

AV cables are red, white and yellow.

If you can plug a PS2 into the TV, you can plug in the PSP using AV cables.

The PSP AV cables should be out later this year.

» dude so chep

if u think about it it's really cheap, but i'm probably not gonna buy it since resolution in the psp it's not awesom it's good for the psp screen and on the go , maybe i'll buy it for the speed but with no downgrader no hombrew and that's important to me, not he iso really cuz you end up messing the game makers paycheck and that end-up """"good games""

Pd: More Support For C+d Noobz + others, most people act like they work for us, they are doing us a favor, people selling stuff on ebay those guys are not going to heaven if there's one

Adding the Family Guy is always a plus

» The OLD PSP is better

This is typical of every company that lower the price on their original version so they need to quickly bring out a newer, more expensive one to take over in the $199 category. Apple has released so many iPod new versions just to cover their own ass.

Aside from the video out thing and some minor re-arranging of mem. card slots and power switch, this is essentially the same thing except the old PSP still looks better.
