ESRB listings have pointed to five more games that could be headed to the North American PlayStation Store as PSOne Classics. Here's a collected screenshot of the listings:

You may remember that Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage had already been released on the PSN but was subsequently pulled due to level loading problems. This listing could be for the old release, but it could also mean that Sony's fixed the game's problems and is readying it for another go. Street  Fighter Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 could also be the start of Capcom's plans to bring more PSOne games to the US PSN.

Can't understand SFA2 and 3. Love them, but without online play it's kinda meh. I'll get SFA3 though cause World Tour mode still rocks. From Capcom though, I want BoF 3 & 4, c'mon!

» Oh looky!

What can I see a pattern of there? Violence, Violence after Violence. Come on Sony, release something other than violence after violence and FPS after FPS. It's a tried and tested genre and we all know how good is it *sigh*.

» Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max + MOAR!!!

You can buy Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for PSP, which includes several things that aren't in the PSX version (characters like Eagle and Maki, other modes, etc) and already has World Tour mode.

» I know that.

heh. That was actually the main reason I got a PSP. Buuut for SFA3 the D-pad was too small for me, and it still didn't support infrastructure. Sold me PSP a few weeks ago, but looks like I'll have to get a new one for Tekken 6 n' Soul Calibur. :) I still want online though or there isn't much incentive for me to buy it again.

» eh?

ESRB ratings are silly. What isn't considered violence nowadays? If you look at it, do you really think Spyro is violent (he's so cartoony)? Wipeout is a racing game with your occasional weapon. What was Mario Kart Wii's rating? It should be considered animated violence too, no?

» Come on Sony

I'm tired of them taking forever to release the PS1 classics. At least there is a chance Wipeout XL will come to The Store. I haven't downloaded the original Wipeout because i've been waiting for XL to be put on there. Sony really needs to hurry their butts up and give the customer what they want.

» what?

Retart? I think you mean retard lulz. You realise PS1 games are difficult to find don't you? Aside from ebay, game shops have already cleared out there PS1 games and other second-hand shops that carry them are having clearances on them. In which case, all the best games get taken first, leaving mostly sports games. Who's "retarted" here?

You kidding? SF Alpha 3 Max is perfect for the PSP Slim d-pad. Plays superbly. Too small? I find it perfect and I have large hands (too large for Nintendo devices it would seem)

Can't stand Tekken and Soul Calibur got old ages ago.
