Final Fantasy VIII now on Japanese PSN |
Ó
Just like the Guardian Forces that they can't survive without, Squall, Rinoa, and the rest of the Final Fantasy VIII crew have Junctioned themselves into a new domain - the Japanese PSN. Now you can go and relive the days of boosting Eden for ten years, spending hours hunting Draw Points, and taking advantage of critical HP to spam Limit Breaks.
Final Fantasy VIII is available now, priced at ¥ 1500, which would be about US$ 16. Square Enix managed to squeeze the game into a 1.815MB file so it won't be such a space-eater in your PS3 or PSP. There's currently no word on release for other territories, but since Final Fantasy VII is on the US Store, they might as well follow up.
Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation Store:
- Final Fantasy VII downloaded 100,000 times in 2 weeks, Wild Arms 2 coming this summer
- Final Fantasy VII reigns supreme on PSN downloads

that is all
wow¡¡ more good news
now only FFIX is missing.....
...and then FINAL FANTASY X!!!!!!
Beat this one in what seems like ages ago. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either. But its way better than FFX and above. It had class, decent characters, a good battle system, and a decent story. X was where the FF series died imo, mostly because they lost the talented designers and artists which made the games before it.
FF VI and VII were the best of the FF series of games.
I'd much rather see FFIX up there. It blows FFVIII out of the water.
It better come to America. I love this game.
My first FF, and my favorite (right next to IX). Yay!
Not a good ff game, but i would still get it just for the fact that this day in age,"rpg's" are no longer made as much as they were in those days.
hell yes now we wait for the US releas of this ff9 LOD etc......
My first Final Fantasy game I played as a kid.
The game that got me into RPG and Final Fantasy games.
I thought FF8 was better personally.
At least the main characters look human and not like some uninteresting freak of nature.
Yes, I've played FF8. It isn't nearly as good as 9. I've played all from 1-9, and personally, I didn't like 4 and 7 all that much. 8 is still pretty good, but just not AS good as 9.
Squall look like he have down syndrome.
1.815MB is kinda small for a game like this... :-/
I hated FF IX compared to VII and VIII its reminds of EAs theory of having to rush something out just to say that did and then make up for it later...
Best Final Fantasy on the PS1 (mainly due to the graphics and art design) but it's still a crap game. FFVI on the SNES was the only one really worth a damn and even then I can't tolerate more than 10 minutes at a time of it.
While FFX would technically possible, it would only be possible if they recompiled the entire game, kinda like they did when they made GTA Vice city stories
Watch as we NA'ers and UK'ers won't get this title for 5 months from now.
