Ovelia from the intro

Square Enix just got back from a little session with their Ivalice history books and now they've updated their official website for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War. The site has now opened up the "Movie & Download" tab on the lower right of the Flash site, and in there you can check out a four-minute flick and get some wallpapers.

The video is an updated intro with those pseudo-3D animations. Here we actually how "3D" they really are, and woot-woot, what eye-candy! It's one thing seeing stills and quite another to see them in cel-shaded action. The screen-cap above doesn't do it justice because it looks like a still drawing. You'll have to see the video for yourself. That's what the "Read" link's for!

Or, you can skip that and watch the same vid on the GameBrink embed below.

Full Metal Alchemist

I saw a red jacket like thing, blond hair, and a pony tail. I thought it was Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. Anybody else see the resemblance? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Elric

Unless Edward Elric's into cross-dressing now...

Dude, that's Princess Ovelia. +p
