Family Guy coming to PSP |

You know what really grinds my gears? That this game isn't on the PSP already. According to 1up, developers 2K and High Voltage are producing a new game for the PSP, PS2, and Xbox, based on the Family Guy TV series. You will be able to play as Peter (Pea..tear..Griffin), Brian, and Stewie, each with their own plans of taking over the world. Peter's goal is to prevent Mr. Belvedere from taking over the world, while Stewie matches wits with Bertram and continues his neverending goal of world domination. Brian meanwhile, will have to escape prison, and naturally take over the world. The game will be based on combat, of which we would like to hope for fighting giant chickens as Peter. Like a Guy Ritchie movie, you will watch the storyline of each character, overlapping neighboring storylines to an end goal.1up also let loose that there will be over 200 cameos throughout the game, including Quagmire, the old pedophile stalking Chris, Opie, and even the evil monkey will have face time. The latest on the release date is towards the end of this year, but no final day has been given. We'll definitely be on the watch for this title and any other smurf-tacular news regarding it.

Yeah, I don't think Family Guy the game is going to be a hit. The whole deal with Family Guy are stories characters tell: "Like that time I went to...", "Like that time at the ..." ... you know where I'm going with this ... oh, and Peter's stupidity :) How are they going to implement this in a game? I feel Seth MacFarlane hasn't got anything to do with this game (except for the voice casting), Fox just want's to make more money, that's it! Oh, and those screenshots don't seem to be taken from a PSP system. So we don't know how the game will look on our PSPs. ps: did you see the latest South Park episode? lol

It does suck. It's hideous.
Normally I wouldnt be too excited about a game based on a show or movie, but I love Family Guy, so hopefully it will be good.

Futurama the game was pretty crappy in terms of gameplay, this looks to be exactly the same thing. They'll probably have some cutscenes from the show, some jokes here and there, but for the most part, it'll probably be horrible.

i love the family guy cartoons even in my 20's i still find them very funny,this game looks freaking awesome, cant wait. really good stuff.

I think Family Guy isn't really funny. It doesn't have a coherent story and every episode is the same

like conquers bad fur day. fun and funny as hell. but i swear if family guy takes one more uncopyrighted idea (brian dancing in a banana suit....stweie going 'ins, ins ins ins ins') i mean thats bull crap. sure its uncopyrighted, but it just makes it a lot less funny
