Thanks to the ESRB Rating Information page, we've finally got word on what Rock Band Unplugged on the PSP will look or sound like. With a Teen rating and described as having lyrics with suggestive themes, it's gonna be another rockin' time for our favorite portable console.

Rock Band on PSP - Image 1

According to the rating, there are some names and descriptions of clothing items that are "playfully suggestive". Examples would be: "Sgt. Sexy", "Trussed Issues", "Booty and the Beat", and more.

Here's where it gets interesting. Thanks to the portion of the ratings description, where it is said that "some song lyrics contain sexual innuendo," we are given a peek as to what songs are included. Let's play some name game now, shall we? Guess what songs these lyrics are from.

1) "We started making out and she took off her pants"
2) "She spent her twenties between the sheets"
3) "Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk?"
4) "Oh, trust in my, self-righteous suicide"

Give up yet? Here are the answers:

1) What's My Age Again - Blink 182
2) Lump - Presidents of the United States of America
3) My Own Worst Enemy - Lit
4) Chop Suey - System of a Down

Well, from the looks of things, it's gonna be a rockin' line up! Am personally excited about the inclusion of P.U.S.A and Lit ("Miserable" was a fun one, wasn't it?). Anyway, this is definitely far from being the final list, but hey, at least we know what's coming, right?

Keep it posted here for more updates and details on Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP. Hoozah! And as a parting bonus, let me leave you with the 90s classic fun rock, Lump.

Still curious to see how this game will fit on a smaller scale. As you can tell by the name I can't be more excited for this. I hope it still holds its charm.

» DLC

Wonder if Harmonix is thinking about DLC for the PSP. Would be nice if they came up with a cool system of buying expansion UMDs and having to extract them (with encryption) to your MS. They could make it so your PSP generates an encrypted file from your UMD and puts it on your MS, but it'd be tethered to only your PSP. This would generate sales of UMDs as people would not be able to share the UMD once its data is locked (and submitted to an MTV verification server) to your PSP. Users buy UMDs and the medium would have gained a nice security method, instilling confidence in the UMD for developers again.

» A few things

In my opinion there should be more Red Hot Chili Peppers tracks on these games. Does anyone know how this is going to be played? Are they releasing some peripheral?

Also, there is a typo in the second sentence after the answers.

» Re

There isn't going to be a peripheral. The game is going to play like the PS2 games Frequency and Amplitude. Watch some videos of those games on youtube and you'll get the idea of what it's going to be like.

» umm

Why not just make it actual DLC? Would be so much easier.

I'm surprised everyone didn't start throwing their favorite band names into the hat of what they'd like to see. If you look at the DS game, what was it called, On Tour? They took a lot of the same songs from the GH games and moved them over, probably cheaper to license. Anyway I love Disturbed, and I figure they were in GHIII, so hopefully they're in this as well.

would be great, i'd like like to see some static-x or soulfly. Something that would really make me headbang and scare the people sitting around me.
