ESRB: Final Fantasy Tactics rated for PSP, PS3 |
Ó

The ESRB's ratings page has done a bang-up job lately of giving us an idea of what big games are coming to the PSOne Classics service next. We saw Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid and we got 'em (although the latter is still launching this week), so there's no reason to believe that this new entry in the listings is bogus.
Spotted recently on the ESRB was Final Fantasy Tactics, which had apparently been rated for the PS3 and PSP. Square Enix did a similar thing in Japan -- releasing FFT after FFVII -- so chances are good that we'll see this classic PSOne title on the PlayStation Store soon. We'll keep you posted when we hear something definite from Sony or Square Enix.

I don't really see the point in this. I mean it's cool that they're releasing it but they already remade FFT for the PSP with lots of extras, mind you the lag during spells was not really a good feature. Wouldn't it be better to just release that version of the game that's playable on both PS3 and PSP?
I think they're going with the original since it's easier to port than War of the Lions. Just my own two cents.
they should port war of the lions...even if it takes longer....but they must keep original names for magics......i mean....fire 1,2,3,4....
I recently finished FFT on the PSP, I converted it myself and I have to say that the I prefer this version than the new "laggy" war of the lion on the PSP. Still, kinda stange to see it coming to the PS store considering it's pretty much the same game.
Typo.
Edited. Thanks for spotting it. :)
Dang, I wish it were headed to the store.
The more FF titles on PSN, the better. :)
