EB & Gamestop Screen for Porn |

A Kotaku tipster dropped word that EB Games and Gamestop employees were told to send any used memory cards to their head office. The reason? It might have ?inappropriate contents.?
It seems a coupla parents bought used PSPs and little Johnny got an eye-full. The unerased memory stick was full of hardcore fun. The complaints have been heard throughout the company.
Do everyone at EB and Gamestop a favor. If you are going to sell your PSP, remember to clear the nasty stuff from the memory stick. Thanks.

I thought of this too, but most stores don't have a PSP to do it with unless they want to open a new one and use it, which would never happen. The store I worked at has one but just because someone returned it with dead pixels and later they couldn't find anything wrong with it, so they used it as a display model.

i got an xbox used from gamestop about a year ago, they left time splitters 2 in it,and when i sold my xbox back awhile later,i made a joke about it.
oh and i purchased metal gear solid twin snakes for gamecube, and picked the game up off the shelf to buy,and they asked me if i was trading it in since they left the game in the box and hadn't checked.

Next thing you know the ESRB is gonna require that memory sticks require a AO rating because of the potential to have AO rated material.
Since this came out I wouldnt be surprised if the pr0n industry started making memory sticks with pre-loaded porno. They already started making UMDs why not make un-rewritable memory sticks. would be funny as hell.

You might think it's ok because 'eventually' little johnny will grow up to be porn-happy just like you, so it doesn't make a difference when he sees it. But if that were the case then movie and game ratings meant to prevent minors from seeing adult-oriented material would be totally pointless. And no...no matter how much your mush of a brain tries to deny it, scientific studies have provided much evidence that adult-orinted material can damage a very young child's mental development. And don't give me your 'When I was that age I..." --no one cares.

Got any references? I'd like to see these "studies" of yours. I'd like to know how my brain has been damaged by looking at porn since 5th grade. Apparently, you and your studies know me better than I do.

I had a 1 gig I was trying to find an owner for and I asked how much they paid for brand new ones, never before used.
Their Buying Price: $50.00
Their Selling Price: $106.00

As for the article...it's pretty sick that some people would leave their porn on memory sticks. Whether it's for the sake of a prank or because they just forgot, it's stupid and irreponsible. I know the internet means little Johnny probably isn't as innocent as you think, but I doubt the average pre-teen has experienced a whole lot of adult material.
Just clear the mem sticks...sheesh.
