1What better venue to introduce a game designed for heavy metal fans but the annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards show? Dubbed as "the only truly genuine metal awards show in the world", Golden Gods gives metal fans a chance to brush shoulders with their idols. And the fourth Golden Gods, happening this June 12 at London's Koko venue, will also let both fans and artists try out the Metro 3D Publishing game Earache Extreme Metal Racing.

Five PlayStation 2 pods will be placed in the event so that the public and the bands can get a first taste of the upcoming PSP, PS2, and PC game. Although the playable Earache Extreme Metal Racing will be the PS2 version, it will still give you guys a good idea if this game's as sweet as Metro 3D pictures it to be. So if you'll be in the area on June 12, don't forget to check out the Golden Gods event - if not for the game, at least for the chance to see your favorite metal bands performing.

Earache Extreme Metal Racing rocks its way to the PSP on July 7.

Who produces this shovelware? I expect this to fall into the same category as Rock n Roll Racing for the SNES . . . a horrendously atrocious piece of crap. Finally, the first PSP game truly worthy of a 1.0!

» R'nR Racing Crap?

I can't comment on this game but Rock n Roll Racing is possibly the FUNNEST racer on SNES. I still play it all the time and would like this game plenty if it was similar to that game.

» sorry but...

Metal sucks... Therefore the theory that a game based around it will have same quality as the music will probably prove true... thank god... another crappy game forced upon the psp playing public
