UNLV - Image 1Electronic Arts has landed in some legal hot water due to the use of the UNLV fight song "Win With the Rebels" in the company's NCAA college sports franchises.

Reno resident Gerald Willis, who composed "Win With the Rebels", has slapped a lawsuit on EA for including the song in ten different games from four of the company's different NCAA college sports franchises.

Willis is asking for up to US$ 150,000 for each copyright violation, so this lawsuit could possibly cost EA more than a million dollars. UNLV itself is not named in the lawsuit as according to Willis' lawyer, the school holds a limited license to use the song.

» Stop complaining

Man this guy is such a baby. What's the big deal. People like him complain so much. You don't have to buy these games if you don't want to, you could just ignore it. Pretend it's not there. You are going to cause all the people who love UNLV to miss their fight song when they play NCAA fotball. Damn this guy must be Muslim, because a Christian would never be this pety. What does he make music with, Sand.

(For the uninformed and stupid, that's a little sarcasm for you. See how dumb that comment was - that's how you guys sounded on the LittleBigPlanet articles. I'm just saying.)
