Electronic Arts (EA) has been upgrading the tracks for its racing video game Burnout Dominator. A couple of days ago, we shared with you a new and free downloadable content called "Carnival Point" for the said PSP title. Fans of the franchise will be happy to know that EA has just announced another one.

Starting June 7, fans can start downloading the new track "Red Gate" directly to their PlayStation Portable units. The concept for this is actually quite in contrast with Carnival Point's sandy beach and downtown traffic of a South American metropolis. In Red Gate, Burnout Dominator takes players in the busy streets of an Eastern European city at night.

There are two methods of downloading the track, depending on your location:
  • European download instructions:
    • From the BurnoutHQ menu in-game via a wireless connection
    • Direct Download from www.burnout.ea.com
    • From www.yourpsp.com
  • US download instructions:
    • From the BurnoutHQ menu in-game via a wireless connection
    • From www.ea.com/burnout/dominator/
While waiting for the new track's official release on June 7, take a look at these screenshots to familiarize yourself with Red Gate.

FIRST!!!

But seriously, more companies should release extras like this for their games. Really brings up the replay value.

as the above poster said, there should be more games with upgradeable content. Wipeout pure was the first game I've ever had with this feature and I loved it, too bad there arent any more updates for it & some of the tracks were region specific, that was a let down but anyways, upgradeable content is one of the features I search for now when deciding buying a game. Thanks WipeOut!
