E3 Eye Candy Part Deux: Booth Babe Upgrade and Video to Boot!

Ó

After hearing your responses from our last E3 picture post, we decided that you guys needed some better booth babes for our second "from the floor" photocade of the day. But before that, we've got business to attend to! Work now! Play later! What's up first? How about a few more shots of the PS3 sittin' pretty on a display table? Yeah, we've all seen it by now, but has anyone seen enough? I don't think so...

As nice and shiny as it looks, the reality is far from glamorous when it comes to practicality at E3. Check out the "server rack" of PS3 devkits that are needed to run the hands-on stations... how many would like THAT in their home?

Not quite there yet guys but the girls are comin', promise. Here's a little teaser of the anticipated title "Heavenly Sword" for the PS3. For an indepth preview, hot off the presses from QJ reporter Chris Coker, check it out [here]!

Now before we move on to feminine beauty, lets whet our appetites with a little artistic beauty. One of the showins at E3 is entitled "The Art of Gaming", because it can't all be about technology, ya know? These custom designer faceplates (for both Xbox 360 and PSP) are hard to ignore and a work of art in and of themselves!

Alright! Alright! While they won't make you "king for a day," pics of booth babes can never let you down! (Except maybe the ones in that last post...) For those of you who care why the girls are actually here, you may be interested to know that the camo-clad vixens are hyping "War Rock," a Korean FPS similar to Battlefield, but its completely free to download and play!

And if that wasn't enough, download this lengthy video of the general madness that is the E3 show floor, and be sure to keep watching QJ.NET for the latest E3 coverage!

» Bow wow

What? Did all the pretty ones have the day off or something? Those girls look butt-ugly, especially the last 2. The ones with the red shirts and white skirts would have been nice if the picture wasn't taken by a lame phone camera!

» ok

» Wow..

Ignorant people... read the other posts about the "copying" Sony did. I'm too lazy to copy/paste.

by FreePlay - 2006-05-11 12:59
» Uh, yeah.

Interesting... everything I read about this year's E3 said that booth babes were not allowed...

» shiny PS3 controller

I hope the PS3 controller is not painted with cheap paint that will wear off on my hands. I personally think they should have dipped the PS3 and controller casings in chrome....... who am I kidding, that would increase the price. It maybe a good idea for a mod though, hmmm.

by YAha - 2006-05-11 13:40
» hm

Im getting a PS3 !

But what happened with those interesting looking controllers?? those controllers look just the crappy designed controllers from previous playstations , I hate those controllers

by RaiderX - 2006-05-11 13:40
» yea, copying happens all the time

hello?? the IDEA of video games was copyied form one comapny to another to another, so u cant call out copycatting. a power button on the controller, WOW, no biggie. The motion snesor, it is a big copy, but still, awesoem and I like it!

glad they got rid of the boomerang at least

Nice to see they're going with the traditional Dual Shock design. Not sure if it'll keep the DS moniker unless Sony can get the legal crap under control. Quite honestly, I never cared for the boomerang design, which Sony never once said would be the successor.

As for Booth Babes being not allowed: It was never said they couldn't have the Booth Babes. They were told not to have all the Babes in super-duper-leaving-the-absolute-least-to-the-imagination skimpy clothing.

by FreePlay - 2006-05-11 15:57
» Seriously, though

Where are you getting photos of booth babes? According to every news source I checked - the inquirer, IGN, CNet, etc. - booth babes were *banned* from E3 2006.

IGN: "E3 Boot Babes Banned" - http://ps2.ign.com/articles/683/683165p1.html

The Inquirer: "Booth babes banned from E3 2006: Take a scantily-clad chance, pay a $5000 fine" - http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=29238

CNet: "Sexy 'booth babes' banned at game show" - http://news.com.com/Sexy+booth+babes+banned+at+game+show/2100-1043_3-6030517.html

So where are these photos coming from?

by FreePlay - 2006-05-11 15:59
» From the E3 2006 Handbook

"Materials, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit or sexually provocative, including, but not limited to, nudity, partial-nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the Show floor, all common areas and at any access points to the Show."

$5000 fine for violating the rules...

» response to number 2

if you look at the ps3 boomerang controller pictures, u can see it had the same power button the new ds3 has so you cannot claim they had stolen 360 idea since the controller was shown at last years e3 along witht he 360 design, so i guess u can scratch that off your i hate sony list

by R Kelly - 2006-05-12 09:27
» WOW

Those are some girls that need peed on ...although the others were ok too.

by miktar - 2006-05-13 10:44
» Sexy girls only banned

They never said that they would be fined for having unattractive booth babes, so that's what they went with this year it seems.
