E3: EA announces line-up of games |

EA greatness coming your way! EA has released its line-up of games down at E3 in Barker Hangar and Le Merigot Hotel.Says EA Games Label President: "In the next six months, EA will launch the most exciting line up of games in our 25 year history. WeÂ’re publishing brand new games... delivering innovations in blockbuster franchises..." Some of these games will be available for demos for those who are lucky enough to attend E3.
Showcasing in Le Merigot Hotel are:
Army of Two: To be released winter this year, Army of Two is a co-op shooter game where the missions where two players are crucial, nay, necessary to win. You can either have a buddy you can trust your life with or take an AI partner (But it's not as fun.) To be released on the PS3 and the XBox 360.
Boogie: Dance to the beat of the music, sing to your heart's desire. Make your own music videos with this happening new game on the Wii! To be released on August 31 in Europe.
Bejeweled: The latest Bejeweled to hit mobile phones everywhere! This version will include Cave-ins and Zero-Gravity Bombs that you can throw at your opponent.
EA Playground: A compilation of games for every age! To be released this year.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Play Harry Potter and lead Dumbledore's army to battle! To be released on major wireless carriers for your mobile phones in June for the US and Europe.
Madden NFL 08: The ultimate sports games for the Wii and your mobile phones!
Medal of Honor Airborne: The latest installment for the franchise will be released this August 24 in Europe for the Xbox 360 and the PC, and in November for the PS3.
MySims: Make your own virtual community in your Wii and Nintendo DS! Create unusual characters and buildings limited only by your imagination.
NBA Live 08: Use the Wiimote and nunchuck to play basketball on the Wii. This game will also be released as a mobile game with commentaries by Marv Albert.
Need for Speed ProStreet: Build up your racing skills as well as your reputation to become the world's best street racer. Coming your way on multiple platforms this October 31.
Rock Band: Here's your chance to rise as a new rock star! Go solo or be part of your own band in this game, which will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Skate: Skate along the scenic city of San Vanelona and capture footage while you're at it. To be released this September on the XBox 360 and the PS3.
The Sims 2 Castaway: Make sure your stranded Sims survive when they are stranded on a deserted tropical island. Available on the Wii, Nintendo Ds, PS2 and the Playstation Portable this Fall.
The Simpsons Game: Take America's favorite dysfunctional family for their most exciting (and hilarious) adventure yet. Will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, DS and PSP.
The Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown: The mobile game of America's favorite dysfunctional family.
Tetris: One of the most popular games in history, Tetris will be breaking bricks and coming to your mobile phones soon.
Showcasing in Barker Hangar are:
Burnout Paradise: The herald of a new generation of racing games, Burnout Paradise will invade be invading your XBox 360 and PS3.
Crysis: From the developers of Far Cry, this one one of the most anticipated first person shooters this year. Will be released this year for the PC.
Hellgate: London: Developed by the Diablo team, this new RPG game will take you to a nearby future ravaged by demons. Out for the PC this October (according to Amazon.)
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames: You play a mercenary who profits from the chaos of a political war over oil. Set the world on fire this year on your PS3, XBox 360 and PS2.
Madden NFL 08: Also showcased in Le Merigot Hotel.
NASCAR 08: Win the NEXTEL Cup championship with a car customized to fit your style of driving. Set to support 15 players in multiplayer mode.
NBA LIVE 08: Also showcased in Le Merigot Hotel.
The Orange Box: Five new action games from Valve, the developers behind Half Life. To be released this October on the XBox 360, PS3 and the PC.
SimCity Societies: Build your own community with its own culture. Help your citizens advance or let them fall into ruin. Available this Holiday season for the PC.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08: Ready, steady, putt! Available on the XBox 360 and the PS3 this August.

1:5 and a lot of the good stuff isn't really developed by EA (a la the orange box)
