E3 2009: Shigeru Miyamoto scouts the PSP Go |

Ó
While Sony staff at the expo looked on while some showed their high-profile guest around the new PSP, Miyamoto looks like he was really scrutinizing the PSP Go, flipping it around and taking a good look. Note that he didn't send his underlings out to scout, he got up and did it himself - major props for his hands-on approach.
Since he has plans for adding more services to the DS, it's possible that he's checking out what the PSP Go can do that the DS does not or cannot support. Remember the handheld that they canned? Maybe Miyamoto's checking to see if it's time to go and whip up a new one like Sony did. No word from Miyamoto on the subject though.

Wouldn't it be even cooler if he made a game for PSP? I know Nintendo fans would feel like he was cheating but I'm a fan of his games. Be really cool if he designed some new Zelda-like game for Sony, unhindered by the (very few) limits Ninty sets.

This, of coarse, is sarcasm.

props to miyamoto for checking out the merch himself. although he's pretty much game for anything, so it's not really surprising he'd come down to the competition's booth himself.
he's established himself already. he should be (and apparently he already is) over that "oh, i don't wanna be seen with them cos they're competition" mentality.

It's no secret that Miyamoto-san owns PlayStation products. It was his idea for a Metal Gear on the GCN since he's a huge fan of the series. I highly doubt the big names in the industry only use their products. Just thinking that is absurd.
