E3 2009: Namco Bandai traveling light to E3 |
Ó
Another publisher formally announces its E3 roster, and for Namco Bandai, the list has to be the shortest I've seen for this year. No way they're gonna drop Tekken 6, but I thought it'd be accompanied by a few more titles than that plus a bunch of Dragon Ball games. Talk about traveling light.
And by light, I mean FOUR games light:
- Tekken 6 (Xbox 360, PS3, PSP)
- Dead to Rights: Retribution (Xbox 360, PS3)
- Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (PSP)
- Active Life: Extreme Challenge (Wii)
What I'm really interested to see is that the Tekken 6 exhibit would most likely showcase footages and perhaps even a playable demo featuring the full-time variable motion blur. The screenshots from last time sort of left me hanging.
Publishers and E3 2009 lineups:
- E3 2009: Activision taking big titles to E3
- E3 2009: Heavy lineup for EA announced
- E3 2009: Sega reveals E3 lineup
- Tecmo reveals E3 lineup, Quantum Theory and Undead Knights coming to US

Uhh dude, unless you don't know, the upgrade to Tekken 6 which is titled Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion already features Full-Time Motion Blur. The Tekken 6 that is coming to consoles is actually Bloodline Rebellion but under the name Tekken 6. The screenshots were comparing how the game looked with and without motion blur, as in, Tekken 6 and Tekken 6: BR. All clear now?
BR came about a year after the first version came out, that's when the graphic engine got reworked.. in the ARCADES but tekken 6: bloodline rebellion isn't on consoles yet, and that is exactly what i want to see.. which part did i get wrong..?
LOL dude, Tekken 6 BR IS Tekken 6 for consoles. Where are you getting your information from?
Really, you're misleading people. You're making it sound as though the console version is Tekken 6 Vanilla when Namco stated MANY MANY times that T6BR is the one coming to consoles, but it's under the name Tekken 6. http://www.tekkenpedia.com/wiki/Tekken_6:_Bloodline_Rebellion And if you check the previous interview with Hadara-san, he re-affirmed that it's BR. Honestly, read up on stuff before you post things, otherwise you'll be misleading people.
They can travel as light as they want, as long as I get to see more of Tekken 6, which I desperately want to play.
I wouldn't jump the gun that quick QJ. Because the announcements of E3 can be very unforgiving. You never know what may pop up with these developers. Heck when it comes time to TGS or E3, gaming news sites update almost every time, around the hour.
man your an airhead... he wants to see it on consoles. we all know its on the system, we just wanna see it be done on consoles.
you really think i don't even know bloodline rebellion? hahaha just because i type "tekken 6" all the time, doesn't mean i don't know it's BR.. tekken 6 vanilla? at which point did i make it sound like the console versions are "vanilla"? all i said was that i wanted to see the blur feature on the consoles..
What ARE you talking about??? They already showcased a video of Tekken 6 on the consoles. Tekken 6 is BR so it already has motion-blur incorporated into it.
Unless you have played the actual game, then I wouldn't jump the bullet like you. I play the game everyday so I know the differences. If you wanna see the motion-blur in action, go to your nearest arcade and have a few games. It's always annoying when people that know nothing about a game act as though they do, leave this sort of news for the REAL pros. http://www.youtube.com/user/ZeroXZ03
i said i want to see the how the feature would translate into the CONSOLES on THE E3 EXHIBIT
It already HAS been translated into consoles. What part of BR for consoles DON'T you understand???
i said E3 exhibit, man, E3 EXHIBIT that's the last i'm gonna say on the subject.. thanks for sharing your thoughts :)
n00b
hes talking about the exhibit. i dont see how you didn't cuss him out glenn
he just shared his thoughts and knowledge about the subject, which he is free to do, just like everyone else :)
Damn, Glenn laying the smack down on Baraa. At first I couldn't understand how this article got so many comments until I read them. ...Tekken rules.
