Ó

In case you missed Sony's E3 2009 press conference earlier today, the PSP got another AAA title added to its upcoming lineup: Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Peace Walker takes place ten years after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, so presumable the "Snake" here is Naked Snake. Kojima himself is writing the script and producing this game, and the main Metal Gear Solid 4 team is also involved, so this is no spin-off. It's a real sequel and a main entry in the MGS franchise.
Here are some screenshots from the game. There's also a video of the announcement as well as the game preview below the screens. The preview itself starts at the 2:23 mark. Oh, and don't forget to watch the cardboard box bit at the end.
*UPDATE
We've got the official trailer now, check it out.

dAlso I'm glad this game is starring old snake and his story. Personally he is my favorite character in the series (even more so than Solid Snake). I love his duality and how he once was a hero and then he turned "evil". Jeez I'm getting all jittery just thinking about this game.
YAY Metal Gear!!!!

They're Peace Walker now... not Peace Maker...
They don't make peace, they walk through it.

Big Boss wasn't really evil, and if you'd played MGS4 and watched all the cutscenes, you'd know he just misinterpreted The Boss's will. You can't really blame him for what he did either, with what he went through in MGS3.
It could seem like Big Boss was simply evil back in the MG days, where you're just Solid Snake and you're the protagonist, but it's just not the case.
