And we shall definitely be looking forward to Konami's presentation at the upcoming E3 2009. The company is hyping up their attendance by promising "surprise guests and revolutionary announcements".
Said their press release:

To reiterate that point, Konami is claiming that their attendance at the event will be "an event you do not want to miss." Do not want to miss. Do not want to miss. Do not want to miss.

Am sure you guys wouldn't want to miss it, too, especially since they hold in their hands the secrets of Kojima Productions.

My guess is another mgs prequel, maybe play as Big boss (Naked snake) a bit after the 3rd game.. maybe like mid 80's
