E3 2008: Sony offers a PSP Entertainment Pack for USD 199 |
Ó
At E3 2008, Sony announced that it is rolling out a new PlayStation Portable Entertainment Pack for US$ 199. Like the previous pack, this one looks like a good bargain for those who haven't purchased a slim PSP.According to the announcement made during the event, the Entertainment Pack will contain a silver slim PSP, a copy of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, a 1 GB memory Stick, a voucher for Echochrome, as well as a copy of the movie National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets.
The new Entertainment Pack should be making it to retail shelves by this fall. That's definitely something PSP fans can look out for.

stupid move by sony why cant they lower damn price why they even bother making a nother stupid bundle
why did they go back to the silver one?
its badazz in all ( i have one and lovin it every second).. i dont even think they sell the old daxter silver on any more do they??
anyways.. i think they should of either lowered the price or made it a different color with a differnt game (a.k.a different bundle in all)... syphon filter would of ben nice or even buzz quiz with a yellow psp. :)
The link sends you to the news for the value pack, the one for the original PSP from 2006. Please give us the correct link and check it before posting.
I have two PSPs (Original and Slim Daxter), and although I really enjoyed my bundle, the bundles are just getting to be too much. Users now have the choice of Starwars Pack (they are still out there, but disappearing pretty quickly), Daxter Bundle, God of War Bundle, and now another bundle? If people would have wanted a bundle, they would have bought one already. Ratchet and clank has been out for a while, 1gb is too small anymore, Silver PSP isn't new, and movies are much better on DVD, so there really is no appeal to this bundle. The only way they are going to start increasing sales is to push the base price of the core system lower...not make another more expensive system for people to buy!! Sony, bump the price down to $149, or even lower if possible (though $149 is more than fair), and people will start buying the system like crazy...thus uping game sales, memory sales, etc. Higher priced bundles with the same old crap just isn't going to cut it for old and new.
