Although there have been screenshots floating around for months now, only recently has it been officially announced by Koei that their tactical action game, Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2 will be coming to North America this fall. Finally, it's in English.
Some of the features of the game include:
- a 4-player Battle Royal Mode
- 300 unlockable officers
- more than 50 stages
- 31 maps
- and most importantly all 48 Dynasty Warriors.
After the debatable Ninety-Nine Nights, will Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2 be "teh game" for fans of the genre? What do you guys think?

Dynasty Warriors is too repetitive to be any kind of fun. The whole time you play it yer just slaughtering crowds of chinese men by swinging weapons. To my opinion: This game and others alike are fvcking (boring as hell) stupid.
Well, I guess someone had a bad no s*x day ...lol. Personally I liked Dynasty Warriors. It was my first PSP game actually. And I would have to disagree, it's not just slaughtering crowds of chinese men. It's more like an active game of chess and those "crowds of chinese men" are the pawns ;-). Then again you see a lot of football games selling left and right, and all they are are "crowds of americans" running up and down a field. It's all in how you look at it and how (mature or immature) you choose to convey your opinions :P
@ Nr. 2 - If you dont like it just go and play whatever u prefer... For me... I loved all Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors Games really... (beside DW4 maybe... it wasnt THAT good...) And for those who dont know... I even did a Inofficial Fan-Translation of DW-2nd Evolution (Volume 2...) to English with Setsu... I did the Coding and Hacking, he did the Translations... Want proof? http://coldbird.lan.st/dw2eng/snap/trans000.jpg to trans004.jpg I also released the Patch... but I think its quite useless now that a most probably better and COMPLETE translation will be released... ^_^ Cant wait for it...
Thats all this game needs. that is where it lacks from the console version. I too enjoyed all the DW and SW games but these psp versions are lacking on the 2p co-op.
Whats the game need is the system of Samurai Warrior, the first DW for PSP sucked because you would start at each lvl again with a lvl 1 weapon.
