"i wonder if this is like the old "interstate 76" game for PC that game was awesome"
YOUR RIGHT I USED TO LOVE THAT GAME, IT WAS FUN ASS HELL!! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT UNTIL U BROUGHT IT UP.
yea man, then they came out with vigilante 8 which didnt compare ... and twisted metal was never as good imo. i am gonna try this game out just for nostalgia's sake
if its anything like parralellines, itll be mint
Yeah I hope its gonna be like tetris! Loved that game.
i hope you die in your sleep
I remember that game, it had awesome pron groove soundtrack and some excellent muscle cars! The guy on the packaging looks like Taurus from that game!
tetris sucks!!
When i discovered that the Driver franchise was gonna grace the beloved handheld, i was anticipating this release with excitement (loved the first, liked the second, hated the third, played the forth).
I just played the first five missions, and so far, i can say that i am impressed.
A nice game, that is definitely worth a decent try, at least.
When pressing the ^ button on the D-pad it enters slow-mo, and shooting from the car is a good addition too, making game-play more interesting at times.
I have yet to discover and try other features such as tuning cars with Nos and finding some motorbikes to rip around on!
The overall graphics are just what can be expected from the hardware (not as clear and defined as GTA, a little more dull & grainy maybe). The size of the game world appears to be fairly large from what i have seen (and have yet to see!).
Voice-overs are okay, not too annoying IMO. Soundtrack fits well. Controls are fine. Strong story-driven missions.
A PSP exclusive and a solid game. A new addition to my collection, and i for one shall be playing this game for a while.
Driver '76 = Thumbs Up!
