Shin Megami Tensei: Persona - Image 1The UMD release of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona may be hitting retailers as scheduled, but the PSN downloadable got set back to October 1st. This new development means that Atlus was unable to deliver on the simultaneous retail and PSN release they promised last month.

Not to worry though, you can get a much better deal if you get your copy via retailers. They give you a full 2-disc soundtrack as a bonus, which you won't get via PSN. If you prefer not to leave home to get it and you can wait until October 1st, then by all means, get it by the Store.

Atlus has yet to comment on the reason for the delay, not that the info would get us any closer to the release date though.

I thought this was gonna happen

Persona is a 5.55 game. I had a feeling they weren't going to release a PSN version at the same time as the UMD version because if they did pirates would be able to decrypt the PSN version with NP-Decrytper.
