doubleTwist enables copying of iTunes to mobiles, PSP |

Still at awe with the music collection of your friends in their iPods? Better try the latest service of doubleTwist that allows people to share media through computers, mobile phones, and Sony's Playstation Portable.
doubleTwists' creation allows users to synchronize media from their computers to mobile devices by simply dragging and dropping the media files into a desktop folder then then instantly copies it onto various mobile devices through the internet.
Here are the gadgets which can utilize this new program: Sony's PSP, Nokia's multimedia N-series phone line, Sony Ericsson's Walkman and Cybershop lines, LG's Viewty, and Microsoft's Windows Mobile smartphones such as Palm's Treo and HTC models.
Users can share the media they own with specific friends. Through the company's latest offering, it is possible to create playlists that mix songs from Apple's iTunes on non-Apple device.
Also, if you're thinking that this is a form of piracy, think again. The people from doubleTwist have found a legal way that won't be ushering any unwanted problems like the ones experienced before by Napster.
In fact, doubleTwists's co-founder and chief executive, Monique Farantzos, said, "All we are facilitating are friends sending things to one another."
This is certainly something that people can look forward to if they want to share the media that they have with their friends and loved ones in simple and fast way.

This software is illegal.
Stripping the DRM from iTunes songs is illegal, and so is sharing copyrighted music.
Saying "Oh, no, it's not illegal" doesn't make it legal.
There are 2 "Then" in the second paragraph. :Its near the end.
into a desktop folder then then instantly
When you burn the songs onto CD you can rip them with some other software and they wont have DRM. Just think of this software skipping that step so you don't have to waste a CD-R.
It only works on things that you have bought from itunes, it wont work on someone else's DRM.
Also the link led to Silkroad's Homepage (QJ being paid to advertise? Joking), but its fixed now.
can you do it with vids too?
do you think anyone cares. i want to be able to put the songs i by off of itunes on my psp. big deal. so shut up. and do you have a life, because you have at least one comment on everysingle article ive ever looked at. so stfu.
It doesn't have to be a different software, iTunes will rip it into mp3 if that's what is in your preferences. I do this to back up my purchases + to put them on my wife's ipod. It also keeps me from having to authorize my laptop, mac @ work, g4 @ home, and before all that, a pc that migrated to my mom's. With a limit of 5 computers to play purchases from iTunes, this is really the only way to go.
gotta love 'em
i lul'd.
majorbb, if FreePlay says something, he's right. He's giving us information to help us. What's wrong with helping? So why don't YOU get a life, and try searching Google instead for iTunes music converters. You should try it sometime instead of refreshing PSPUpdates all day. -_-
i dont wanna pay for some crap when this is free so stfu stupid bodaget
yeap :)
